Kirstie Ennis is happy to call the Glenwood Springs, Colorado area home after spending many years living in different areas of the US. Here, not only does Kirstie finally feel settled and ‘at home’ –she is thrilled to help others call it “home” as well. Kirstie’s background in military and educational endeavors has instilled a strong ethic of “service first” in her professional career of real estate. Kirstie is motivated to help others to own their own homes, even if faced with adversity. These characteristics make Kirstie a strong advocate to have on your side. Kirstie’s fierce drive and motivation add to her ability to multi-task her priorities.
She is finishing a Masters in Public Administration to accompany her Masters of Business Administration and Masters in Psychology. She works as a stuntwoman in major motion pictures, a veterans’ advocate, and as a Paralympic athlete. Kirstie served as a door gunner and CH-53 Helicopter Mechanic in the US Marine Corps. When her aircraft went down during combat operations in Afghanistan 2012 she was critically injured. After recovery, Kirstie became dedicated to exceeding expectations. She is now a competitor and finisher in Ironman and marathon races. She is the junior director of a nonprofit organization, Wounded Warrior Outdoors, which takes wounded service men and women on therapeutic outdoor adventures. Kirstie is a spokesperson for the nonprofit organization Building Homes for Heroes, which provides adapted mortgage free homes to critically injured veterans. She is also the host of web based TV show, Adventures Enabled, which shows individuals with visible and invisible injuries overcoming their adversities. She is training for both a spot on the U.S. team for boardercross as well as her new goal of reaching the Seven Summits.
