Aspen made its way into Jim’s heart in 1975, during a hiatus from college when he lived in Aspen for a ski season. Aspen kept beckoning him to return and he would continually visit throughout the years to ski until he permanently moved here in 1996. That was the year he purchased Montecito, a home furnishings store. Over the years Montecito would grow to became a household name in Aspen, developing a mystique as the store for livable interiors.
After 18 years of running a successful business in the Valley, Jim has made the move to real estate.

Understandably, over the years Jim has furnished homes in every neighborhood from Red Mountain to Carbondale and built two homes of his own. He knows the neighborhoods upside down and backwards. He knows the people and their pets, the bike rides and the hikes and will bring something to the table that other real estate agents may not: a great sense of style and design, together with exceptional negotiation skills.

Whether you want to sell your property, or find the perfect property, Jim Polep will help you to reach your goal in real estate ( and have a good time doing it).
