In 3 Words: Fun-Loving, Honest, Hard-Working.
The youngest of 9 children, Carla VanAlstyne was born in a modest, rural community in Illinois where hard work and success were instilled in her. She moved to Denver as a young adult and discovered a smaller, pastoral town was more her speed. After contemplating returning to Illinois, a friend asked her to visit Snowmass Village and she fell in love with the area, promptly moved to the Roaring Fork Valley and never looked back.
Carla started her real estate career in 1985 as a receptionist in Snowmass and became a licensed Broker in 1987. Prior to selling full time, she worked in the real estate industry behind the scenes as an office manager as well as an executive assistant to some of the world's top-producing brokers; learning the bricks and mortar of the business from the inside.
Carla has worked in the real estate industry for more than 30 years and enjoys getting to know her clients and assisting them in finding the perfect property to fit their wants and needs. She helps sellers get the fastest sale at the highest price and is a diligent buyer's agent; not just selling them the right house, but in the environment that best suits their lifestyles. Carla is warm, engaging and has drawn many friends and acquaintances in the community to seek her guidance and service in their real estate endeavors. Coupled with her own local market knowledge, E&V support system, and authentic ability to connect with people, she has catapulted her success in the industry.
Hiking Mushroom Rock and other local climbs; golfing at River Valley Ranch, dining at Heather’s in Basalt, and dancing to live music at the Belly Up in Aspen all help her decompress after her workdays. She enjoys quality time in Blue Lake with her daughter, friends, and family, and looks forward to building more long-lasting relationships and helping others fulfill their dreams of living in the wild, wild west as well! Bottom line: Carla’s enthusiasm for people and the real estate industry is beyond genuine and absolutely tireless.
