In 3 words: Colorado born and bred.
What you should know ...Diane Turner knows the western slope because she was born and raised in Colorado. She left to attend college at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and then moved to Aspen 39 years ago!“ I moved to Aspen to ski of course, but then I met my wonderful husband and it became about so much more than that,” she says. “It’s just a wonderful place.”
With deep roots firmly planted at home, Diane has traveled all overthe world. “I’ve had the opportunity to travel all over Europe and the Middle East. I love world travels and to experience different cultures,” she says.
When it comes to her career, Diane has a diverse background in everything from accounting and high-end retail to real estate. “I’ve worn a lot of hats,” she says. Diane’s foray into real estate began when her husband, a developer, built his first spec home in Basalt. “It seemed like a good transition for us to collaborate and keep it under one business,” she says. “He’s the builder and I’m the broker.” Because of her husband’s construction business, Diane is familiar with all aspects of building procedures and zoning, experience that serves her well as a real estate broker. “I’m comfortable with the full range of real estate properties, from Aspen/Snowmass and the Mid Valley all the way to New Castle.
”What she brings to the table: “I am a very good communicator and I work hard. I do not put off tomorrow what can be done today. When I get a request for an issue that needs to be handled I get on it then and there. My clients appreciate that I’m always available and that I communicate every detail with them. I feel it’s important to have honesty and integrity with everyone.
”When she’s not in the office ... “Volunteer work is a very big part of our lives.,” Diane says. She and her husband traveled to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria to help rebuild and provide disaster relief. “I feel a strong need to help people to improve their lives.”
